10 Best Tourist Attractions in Central Java – Central Java is a province which is located in the middle of Java. Since the location is in the middle, the province is of often used as as shelter for the people who are in a trip from West Java to East Java. The province which is the central of Javanese Culture has many interesting tourist attractions. So what are tourist attractions that worth a visit?
1. Dieng Plateau
Located about 30 KM from Wonosobo, Dieng Plateau is gigantic volcanic area which has several craters and ancient Hindu Temples. Since it is located on 2,000 M height, Dieng Plateau has very cold temperature. At noon, the temperature can reach 15 Celsius degrees and 10 Celsius degrees at night. Dieng Plateau is run as tourist site in Central Java by the Kabupaten Wonosobo along with Banjarnegara.
2. Guci Hot Water Tourism Park
Guci Hot Water Tourism Park is located in Tegal, Central Java. In order to reach the Guci Hot Water Tourism Park location, you need to drive to north within about 40 KM from Tegal City, or about 30 KM from Slawi. Just like the other natural hot bathing places, the hot water in Guci Hot Water Tourism Park which is located in the foot of Mount Slamet is believed to heal any kind of diseases. Puri Maekoroco is often called as the easy way to go around Central Java as it presents various custom houses from throughout Central Java. Tlogomeru Tourism Village is popular by its owls. The owls was used to reduce the population of rat pests which ruined corn plants. Besides being successful to control the pest, the owls also changed its area into a tourist site which is innovative and unique. Kartini Beach is a tourist site which is located in Jepara, Central Java. The 3 hectare area is also a transit area and connector for those who want to travel to Karimunjawa Islands. Central Java Grand Mosque is located in Semarang City. The mosque which is started to be built in 2001 was official in 2006 and as the biggest and the grandest one in Central Java. The building consists of Islamic architecture of Islam, Romans, and Java. The facility which the mosque had are museum, radio studio, Giant Koraan, electrical umbrella, and so on.
