The more West the more critcal the wave, a S-SW swell with a NE-SE wind turn this wave great at any tide. It may be deceptively heavy and if over 6ft is only for experienced surfers. Cloudbreak is situated on a sheltered reef which takes three miles south of Namotu Island.
Restaurants Fiji: Also known as Cloudbreak’s little brother, the restaurants is rated one of the top ten waves in the world as well. Not the same swell as Cloudbreak, it breaks in a large SW ground swell only but when it does, Restaurants is famous as perfection in motion.
